At bandbox, we strive to provide home and office products that you will love forever, but we understand that despite the best of intentions some purchases may require a re-think. We will work with you to ensure that your return is as easy as it can be.

Please notify us via email (hello@bandboxliving.com ) within 5 days of delivery that you intend to return your purchase. We will email labels and return instructions to help your return along. Products MUST be returned with 30 calendar days of order receipt.

Products must be returned in original condition, in the original box, with packaging intact.

Refunds will be issued in the amount equal to the purchase price of the bandbox product (not including the original shipping and handling cost), less (1) the cost of return shipping and handling, and (2) a restocking fee. Original shipping and handling costs are non-refundable. If, for any reason, the bandbox product you are returning is damaged or parts are missing, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of your returns to reflect the cost of replacement parts.

Please email photos along with a detailed description of the damage (including carton damage) to hello@bandboxliving.com with the subject line “Damage”. Damages must be reported within 5 calendar days of order receipt. Issues will be reviewed by our customer service team. If a product is repairable, we will ship the appropriate part. If it is not repairable, we will replace your item in full. Please keep all packaging, as the damaged item may be picked up at our discretion.

Many bandbox products require some easy assembly (trust us, you can manage!) and instructions will be included with those products. Need help? Email hello@bandboxliving.com with the subject line “Assembly Help” and we’ll do our best to assist. Lost your instructions? We can email you a new set – just let us know in your email.

Please email parts requests to hello@bandboxliving.com – we will expedite missing parts so you can get busy enjoying your new stuff! Please include “Parts Request” in the subject line so we can reply right away.

We offer a 5-year warranty on the following product components:

• Seat Foam
• Glides and Casters
• Laminate Tables
• Solid Wood surfaces

The bandbox warranty does not cover the following instances:

• Sharp object damage (scissors, writing implements, kitchen utensils, keys, jewelry, etc.)
• Damage by freight carrier
• Knots, wood color variations, and distressed look are natural characteristics and are not considered covered by warranty.

Cleaning and care will increase the lifetime for your bandbox products. Here’s a quick breakdown of cleaning and care routines:

Powder Coat Cleaning

Clean painted/powder coat products with a slightly damp cloth using a mild solution of soap and water. Bleach cleanable with 10:1 ratio of water to bleach.

Chrome Finish

Chrome finishes may be cleaned with a high quality chrome cleaner to ensure the brightest finish. Bleach cleanable with 10:1 ratio of water to bleach.

Aluminum and Stainless Steel

Clean with a damp soft cloth using a mild soap solution or glass cleaner. No abrasive cleaners should be used. Bleach cleanable with 10:1 ratio of water to bleach.

Polypropylene

Polypropylene finishes are found on many bandbox seating solutions and can be easily cleaned with a diluted 10:1 water to bleach solution.

Outdoor Furniture

Cleaning and maintenance of outdoor furniture is key to its durability. Use this method for a quick clean up here and there throughout the season. Use a mild bleach solution for stubborn stains.

1. Mix mild dish soap with warm water.
2. Use a clean cloth to wipe soapy mixture onto surfaces, cleaning off excess dirt.
3. To sanitize, mix 1/3 bleach and 2/3 water and then apply bleach cleaning solution with clean cloth.
4. Rinse thoroughly.

The upholstery should not be exposed for long periods of sunlight as this may cause fading and deterioration of cover material. Protect from exposure to sources of heat such as radiators or open flames.

It is recommended to give the upholstery a frequent vacuuming or light brushing. It is very important to rub very gently to avoid colour change. This proper cleaning will prevent buildup of dust, soil and oils which can be damaging to cover material.

In the event of a spillage, it is imperative to act quickly. Carefully soak up any excess liquid, ideally using the edge of a white paper towel, then dab gently with a fresh towel taking care to avoid soaking in or spreading of the remaining liquid.

Do not machine wash, contact a professional in case of stain removal.

Bandbox is currently only shipping within the 48 contiguous United States.
